Coronavirus disease outbreak has finally reached Africa terrain and Ghana has recorded two identified cases.
This was publicised by the Health Minister, Mr Kwaku Agyemang- Manu in a presser 12th March 2020.
The virus infection is characterized by mild symptoms including a runny nose, sore throat, cough, and fever. Illness can be more severe for some people and can lead to pneumonia or breathing difficulties.
The video below depicts a man who has contracted COVID-19 and finding it difficult to breathe as an apex symptom.
The public is therefore advised to report to the nearest hospital if any of the above symptoms is experienced.
Coronavirus disease is very deadly and can be contracted through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze, or through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose.
