Irene Logan, half of music duo “Irene and Jane” has made known how she was duped by video director Gyo Gyimah.
The Ghanaian based Liberian singer on StarrFm with Jon Germain divulged that, over ten years ago, Gyo Gyimah took about Ghc5000 from her for a music video shoot but did not give her the video till now.
Speaking on StarrFm, the songstress registered that, she saved much money from performances, scouted for locations, paid Gyo Gyimah for a music video but never seen the video.
According to her, Gyo Gyimah had told her, his computer crashed and he would retrieve the video but upon numerous calls, he didn’t return the video neither did he refund her money.
“I saved up so much money from peformances, scouted for location,paid Gyo Gyimah of phamous philms for a music video and for more than 10 years, i havent seen the video. Gyo Gyimah said the video mysteriously vanished from his machine.
He told me his computer crashed and then it will be retrieved, but upon numerous calls to him, he didnt even return the calls nor my videos not to talk of a refund.- Irene Logan on #TheZone with Jon Germain on Starr1035FM.”
Irene Logan is a Ghanaian-based Liberian singer and songwriter. She gained popularity as a member of the music duo Irene and Jane, composed of herself and Efya.
The duo competed in the maiden edition of the Stars of the Future talent show in 2006, where Logan emerged the winner.
