Ghanaian highlife singer Dada Hafco on live radio has opened up on why his songs are not making enough revenues.
Speaking on hitz FM with Andy Dosty, the “Yebewu Nti Yenda” singer has divulged that, good music is highly unnecessary in the current state of the Ghanaian music industry.
He revealed that, the media has failed to make enough stars instead, they only strive on the few without making any effort of producing enough front liners.
With his argument, such is because, the media follows trends instead of making trends and that ha make sensible songs irrelevant.
“Good music is highly unnecessary because the system is not allowing it to thrive”– he said.
Reacting to Stonebwoy’s earlier statement at the MTN 4syte TV MVAs, Dada Hafco has said that, he really disagree with Stonebwoy for saying it will take Ghana another 40years to have artistes like himself, Shatta Wale and Sarkodie.
I don’t agree with stonebwoy saying it’d take another 40 years for Ghana to see himself, Shatta Wale and sarkodie in this industry. He is entitled to his opinion but I don’t agree. We have so many talents in Ghana. – he added.
