The former President John Dramani Mahama has called on traditional authorities to project the country’s peace agenda before, during and after the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
According to him, peace and security are essential for development therefore the need to sustain peace in the Country.
He made this known at the Thanksgiving durbar marking 40th anniversary of enstoolment of Nana Kodua Kese II, as Chief of Oyoko in New Juaben Traditional Area which also marked his 77th Birthday.
He further assured the Chiefs and People of Oyoko of his next government to invest more in infrastructure to improve their living conditions.
“I am glad that under my tenure, Oyoko Methodist SHS witnessed an expansion in infrastructure. I wish to assure the Chiefs and People of Oyoko that more will be done for this community in the next few years to come”. he indicated.
