The president of Ghana Nana Addo has divulged the government’s decision on evacuating stranded Ghanaians abroad back home amidst the outbreak of the novel pandemic coronavirus disease.
Addressing the nation on Sunday, the president had promulgated the continual closure of the country’s borders and the ban on human trafficking.
Nevertheless, the president has made known that stranded Ghanaians abroad will be evacuated back home on special dispensation measures where they will be subjected to mandatory quarantine.
He said; “Our border, by air, land and sea remains closed until further notice for human trafficking. However, Given that there are Ghana residents stranded abroad. Special dispensation is going to be given for their evacuation back to Ghana where they will be subjected to mandatory quarantine and safety protocols”
