COVID-19: Lockdown extended for a week

The president, Nana Addo Danquah on his sixth address to the nation on measures taken against the spread of the pandemic coronavirus disease has announced another one-week extension of the lockdown.

On Thursday, April 9 2020, the president has addressed the nation on the sixth time on measures taken in combating the coronavirus.

Just as many are expecting an end to the partial lockdown, the president has announced the restriction to movement in Accra and Kumasi whiles the borders keep closed.
