OB Amponsah, a trained optometrist, who has had a successful comedy career has hinted that he is not going to vote again in his lifetime so far as living in Ghana is concerned.
According to him, voting in Ghana isn’t necessary for him as a Ghanaian because of failure from politicians to deliver on their mandates.
“I won’t vote this year. I don’t see any difference. I don’t see why a government that has been elected to resolve our challenges always continues to blame the former government for the problems.
” I don’t see the difference between the NPP and NDC. Personally I lean more towards the CPP but they are not seeing top in the elections. Kabila (Kwabena Bonfeh) is my uncle,” he told Francis Abban on Starr FM.
He is said to host his first show in the year 2020 dubbed: “Political Refugee” after the backlash he faced from some people for making a political joke about ‘Mahama’, at Citi FM’s Decemba 2 Rememba show last year december.
Scheduled for the Snap Cinemas inside the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) on Saturday, January 18, the show, which will host other comedians, will see OB tell funny jokes about his ordeal last December.
